From November 1995, his fist visit to the States, this video captures the Cuban piano giant (both literally and figuratively) giving a demonstration at the Kasimoff Bluthner store in Los Angeles of how he's adapted some of the bata drum rhythms from his home island to the piano. Then he finishes off with a solo tour-de-force that clearly demonstrates his mastery of the instrument.
